Season 3?
Last November, this podcast went “on hiatus” for a bit. The “personal matters” I mentioned at the time included the arrival of a new job in San Antonio, Texas, and the associated move and all the events surrounding that.
Unfortunately, they also included the unexpected deaths of my sister-in-law, my wife’s aunt and, most recently, my brother Mark. It simply wasn’t a good time to be working on On Garner Road.
And yet, these experiences remind me once again how much like my old neighborhood the Internet is. There are tons of strangers, of course, but there are friends, old a new, who step forward with a kind word, the offer of assistance, and as much love as I can accept.
And so, I can tell you that there will be a Season 3 of On Garner Road. I’m in the process now of arranging interviews and coordinating the myriad background activities that go into putting this together. If you have a suggestion for guests, or if you’d like to participate, let me know! I’ve set up a contact form to make it easy to communicate with me.
Oh, and you might notice a new look to the site. I’ve moved it to wordpress.com, mainly to save money. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement, however!
